A new chapter begins!

Hello hi hello! This post is just for the sake of me posting something. I do have a few things to write about but they take too much time which I do not have at the moment. So I'll just write this.

I AM STARTING MY DEGREE LIFE!

Pfft 'Degree Life' is so cliche but hey, it is what it is. Yes, I am going to continue my studies to degree level, because I do want to achieve a degree and get a good job and marry someone who would like me as I am and get a house and... where exactly am I going with this?

The point is I am continuing my studies. The most important question is where right? I am furthering my studies at... Universiti Malaya aka UM!! I was so shocked when I checked the website! But that was not where the shock ends. Apparently I was offered a place in... the TESL program!!! Can you imagine how shocked I was?!

I was like 'Really UM? You wanna take me as a TESL student? After that horrible interview?'

Just kidding. Alhamdulillah, I am very very thankful. Of course, I wanted literature but that is a story for another day/post. For now I am very grateful and have decided to embrace this opportunity.

So yeah, degree life. I am a little bit excited, I mean, I'm going to UM! Trust me when I say this, my father is 10x happier than I am when the results were out. He always talked about sending another child to UM so yeah here I am. Glad I could make you proud dad.

But I guess I'm a bit more anxious than excited? I mean, this is it. This is degree time. It's going to be way different that Asasi, and UM will definitely be different than UiTM so yeah I'm kinda nervous. There's also the fact that I'll be taking TESL as well.

But yeah, what is life without any difficulties right? I am preparing myself and am just hoping for the best. I will work hard, definitely, but I am quite anxious. I do look forward to joining any music clubs or something, as there is this sheet called the 'Kajian Bakat' and it seems like UM is really stepping up the game. The sheet is for knowing what activities were you active in and there is a band column so yeah I'm gonna tick that. Hopefully I'll get to join the orchestra or something, then my father's ambition - getting me into UM and making me join the orchestra or preferably gamelan, but I'm not interested in that - would be complete.

I guess that's it for now. Degree life here I come?
